Easter Craft & Family Treasure Hunt in Kenmore

Published: 17/04/2025

Looking for a fun-filled family day out this Easter? Join us in Kenmore on Sunday 20th April for a morning of Easter-themed activities!

In partnership with the Scottish Crannog Centre, the Reading Rooms will be hosting a mix of seasonal crafts, a fairy door treasure trail, bonnet making, egg and biscuit decorating, and plenty more.

Start your morning at the Reading Rooms from 10:30am, where the treasure trail begins. Then swing by the Sports Pavilion to style your own spring bonnet – bring a base (a cap, Alice band, or hat) if you can. You’ll also find card-making and egg painting to enjoy while you’re there.

Continue the trail at the Crannog Centre, where you can explore the sensory gardens and kitchen, and enter your bonnet in the prize competition. Even more crafts await in the Iron Age village – from spring wreaths and paper beaks to egg races and clay pots. The café will be open with delicious spring treats!

Entry is free, with donations welcome to support ongoing Reading Rooms activities. Crannog Centre annual passes are available for £10 (PH15 2 residents) or £15 with Gift Aid.
