Kenmore Beach is now more accessible thanks to the installation of a new access ramp. This upgrade, undertaken by Taymouth Castle following conversations with the local additional support needs Lego Club, enables smoother access from the car park to the beach for users of scooters, bikes, wheelchairs, and buggies.

Adding to these changes, an accessible parking space has also been marked in the car park, making visits more convenient for those with mobility needs.

Flower beds, planters and baskets have recently been installed in the Village by Taymouth Castle’s horticultural team. They feature Petunias, Lobellias, Begonias, Antirrhinums, Lysimachus and Geraniums. Other features around the local area are being improved by the newly formed ‘Kenmore & District in Bloom’ group.
